Idea; birth and death

There is something about giving birth to Idea,
maybe an Idea of immortality.

Idea is not theoretical or imaginary.
Nothing funny about Idea;
Idea is serious artistic business.

Idea is life: a life that needs to grow,
be fruitful, carry forth after death.

Idea the seed; bring it to Fruition.
I hope to be a grand Idea.

Idea is dissengagio, or something like that, I have NEVER seen the word in print, and only heard tell of it once from a professor who I admired highly, didn’t much like her, but she was one kick axe lecturer, and she knew her shit. It was said to be Italian. I should look it up, really.

According to her, Dr Strychnine, not her real name but what we decided to call her, dissengagio was a term coined by Leonardo of Vinci, it meant that the artistic concept was of the utmost importance, and that any skilled crafts-person could then carry out the work…Yah, I substituted person for man, I’m a stickler about that. So there ya go, just like not all people who create art are artists, some are considered merely crafts persons, though I tend to disagree about the validity of someone else deciding if someone is an artist or not, and I tend to have problems with others deciding for me what is or is not art….

Hell, what was I typing about? Hang on I have got to go back and re read your post. Well that didn’t help much, not that your words aren’t put together perfectly, they are, as always, yep, but I, well I am a little bit, oh hell, I’m having problems with comprehension today…

I think you are a grand idea, dood, really, so there ya go. If idea is the conceptualization and nothing can be as perfect as the conception--thank you very f-ing much Plato--then can we ever be totally ideal, or can we come as close to the ideal as humanly possible so yes, we should strive….? Are we setting ourselves up?

Love and stuff--reminds me of HR puff an stuff, where ya go when things get rough…..did you know that the guy who played the witch was a guy? I sort of gave it away didn’t I? I’m done now. X’s and O’s, Lo
