Sometimes, there is Creation.

Sometimes, while he is still young, a boy moves away from himself. Sometimes a girl makes no sense to him. At others times she does. Usually it is when he is hard. He thinks about the first girl. He thinks about how, “I fit here, in her, and she moves, then I move. This is love.”
- - -
Sometimes, when he becomes older, the boy moves away from a God. Sometimes a woman makes no sense. At other times, she does. Usually it is when he is inside her, expansive, yet, comfortable; expansive like the universe or even certain planets, comfortable like a human under a warm blanket. He thinks about this woman, the first he has ever loved. He thinks about how, “I form a universe, with her, with me. And she loves, then I love; and this is Creation.”

Oh, this is good. God and women. Are they mutually exclusive? Which of the two is harder to comprehend?

Hey, thanks for coming by. I'm linking you to my page--a Chicagoan. That's my hometown. Are you from there originally? Cool!

enemy of the republic,
No, I don't believe God or Women are mutually exclusive in regards to women. However, I believe in an apophatic theology, so I try not to put a definition on God as this or that. I guess my stories and poems are my kataphatic way of understanding God. In all truth, I have no idea what the hell I'm doing on this earth most of the time. Perhaps, to write bad stories about men and women and God. HA!

But do they ever simply, some say mundanely break bread over a peanut butter sandwich? Even if someone accidentally bought the crappy smucker's? love it - just trying to peek in with 'ordinary' cosistency. Although what is sustaining you lately in the literal food world HW? Miss 'simple' stories of apples. Or is God mutually exlusive to apples - hmm that may be genesis for a story. Or maybe I've heard that one.

Well, guy, I don't know why I am here either. But here we are, chatting in cyberspace. Maybe that is part of the destiny--are you into Star Wars? I'm a fiend!

P,
I assure you, they could break bread over crappy Smucker's peanut butter, and do it in peace at that. At the moment, since the wreck, I'm back to shitty Smucker's peanut butter, random salads, and the occasional "sale priced" pizza. I certainly could write about apples, Eve, God and all of that fairy-tale Genesis non-sense, but that's not what I'm about and you know that. I'm about human disconnection and my/our failure as humans to communicate with one another.

I know all that silly pants -- who you think you talkin' to? I know what you've been buying just trying to gently remind you of "nice" things- just wondering when you were going to circle around again to the sentiment of some of your earlier posts where your humor was palpable and 'gulagian'. I meant geneisis more as a beginning not the biblical "tale" -- peace.

Well, things were funnier when I first moved to Chicago and perhaps I'm not so talented in humour, so I'm writing about what is important as I see it now. Silly Pants!

THG- excellent! this is rattle rattle material. (ask Liz) evocative, spinning ideas which bounce around in my head.

Poetry Carnival 7 is at Glitter Lane this time. Theme is music poetry, or a lyrical poem about Thanksgiving. hope you join.
